You know this exact moment,

When you feel like leaving but you don’t,

Or, you want to ask for support, to share an idea, to reply straight away to this inappropriate comment,

But your mouth stays shut.

You want to say no, but you say yes, maybe you even smile!

Or, you want to say yes, to feel the pleasure, you want to receive the attention,

But your whole body is tensing up.

This moment where,

There is an instinct, a burning response coming from all your cells,

But your body delivers exactly the contrary of that impulse.

And afterwards, the self-attack starts;

“I should have said something.”

“Why did I do this?” “Why did I say yes/no?”

“I am too weak”, “I am too sensitive”, “I am too controlling”,

You name it.

In the meantime, the opportunity is gone, a boundary has been ruptured, or someone else gets the attention, the promotion, the fun, the love.

You end up feeling depleted, invisible and resentful.

That’s when you go to work on your self-love or your self-confidence.

When it’s not the problem.

Because nothing is wrong with you. And you don’t necessarily have low self-esteem or self- I don’t know what.

You didn’t respond the way you wanted because you couldn’t.

What happened between your body sending a signal and you not accurately delivering it, is a physiological response called the freeze.

It’s an adaptive mechanism most women’s nervous systems adopted in response of millennia of conditioning engraving this message in their flesh:

A woman who accommodates others with her behaviour, her body and her sexuality, is safe.

(Because she’ll get married)

Other women are in trouble.

Yes, fighting for laws and systems protecting women rights is essential.

And,

We need as well tools for everyday life interactions to pierce through that freeze and feel our power in our body.

So that we take up space, get more of what we want, and influence.

How do we do that?

Let me introduce myself and tell you more.

Hi, I am Celine,

 

For 20 years, I’ve traveled the world in search of the most effective practices in women’s power and female sexuality. I’ve had the privilege of living in France, Australia, Thailand, India, and Bali, and I’ve taught hundreds of women from all over the world.

Early on, I started searching for teachers and mentors who could go deeper than making me feel good just for the duration of a session or a workshop. I wanted to enjoy being in my body, to feel powerful in my relationships. I wanted to experience my life as a journey I could actually influence, instead of a drag I was dragged through. I wanted to experience the magic, and to understand the science behind it.

Like many women, I didn’t have a sense of my own power. It felt like life had pressed pause on me. I’d watch other women make things happen, enjoying themselves fully, and it felt like watching a movie I couldn’t be part of.

I spent countless years “working on myself.” I studied and taught tantric yoga and female Taoist practices, which gave me an extensive knowledge of the female body and its energetics. But it was only when I encountered somatic work — nervous system work — that I understood: my powerlessness, my lack of joy, didn’t come from not knowing enough, or not loving myself enough.

Life wasn’t hard when I was on my yoga mat. It was hard when I was relating.

Today I know that what gets wounded in relationship can only be healed in relationship.

Thanks to good-girl conditioning, my relationship with my body, my desires, and my own knowledge was inconsistent, dismissive, sometimes even judgmental. I believe this is a systemic issue affecting most women — and it massively impacted my relationships with others. As efficient adaptive mechanisms, a freeze response or a pleasing response would block my authentic expression from coming through, leaving me resentful afterward. Not because I was weak — because my nervous system was wired that way.

I had to become aware of how my story, and the story of the women before me, had been written into my body — and rewrite it, so my impulses and behaviour could change organically.

My approach is a unique blend of neuroscience-based methods (somatic and nervous system work) with ancient tantric and Taoist tools.

It takes you beyond your head and into the depth of your body’s wisdom — where a power most women have been disconnected from for centuries has been waiting for you all along.
